Robert Bravender

Born and raised in the Midwest, Robert Bravender moved to the South in 1981 to attend the University of Memphis. By 1986, he graduated with a B.A. from the College of Communications and Fine Arts, completing a double major in film/video production and history.

In 1989, Robert stumbled into the print medium when he became the editor of a small magazine published by the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA).  The NMCA later became the sanctioning body for Pro Street Drag Racing.

Nine years later, he drew the attention of motorsports and TV legend Ted Jones, the Founder and President of Masters Entertainment Group, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Since then, Robert has written, produced, shot, and edited a wide variety of TV shows and series for MEG.  He has also contributed articles to various automotive publications.

Happily married to his “Memphis Belle,” Nancy, the couple have raised four children in Appalachia and are in the process of spoiling their grandchildren.
